The Education Exhibition in celebration of the 65th Anniversary (Dies Natalis) of Makassar State University (UNM), held at the Pinisi Tower Building Yard, drew public attention. On the second day of the event, Tuesday (21/7/2026), the booth belonging to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FIS-H) became one of the most crowded spots visited by both the campus community and the general public.
The FIS-H UNM booth presents a tangible representation of the implementation of the Tri Dharma (Three Pillars) of Higher Education. Various academic achievements are displayed interactively, ranging from books authored by lecturers, research documentation, scientific publication journals, to various community service innovations. Visitors can also consult directly regarding study program profiles and opportunities for institutional cooperation.
The Coordinator of the Business Law Study Program of FIS-H UNM, Dr. Ririn Nurfaathirany Heri, S.H., M.H., explained that this exhibition is an important medium to account for the faculty's academic performance to the public. According to her, all the exhibited products are the result of productive collaboration between lecturers, students, and educational staff.
"Through this exhibition, the public can witness firsthand how the teaching-learning process, research, and community service at FIS-H produce real solutions for social dynamics. This activity is also a strategic means to build public trust in the quality of our higher education," said Ririn on the sidelines of booth assistance activities.
Seeing the high enthusiasm on the second day, Ririn invited the entire academic community, alumni, and the general public not to miss this momentum and to visit the FIS-H booth. She hopes that this Anniversary event can continue to trigger a stronger collaborative environment for the advancement of national education.
