The Class IA Pontianak District Court (PN) has established a strategic synergy with the Pontianak City Government to optimize digital transformation in legal services. This collaboration was realized through a socialization event titled "Modern, Humanist, and Integrity-Based Public Services" held at the Sultan Syarif Abdurrachman Hall, Pontianak Mayor's Office, on Tuesday (7/7/2026).

Targeting all sub-district heads (camat) and urban village heads (lurah) within the Pontianak City Government, the event aimed to align the understanding of government officials regarding modern judicial administration. This synergy is considered crucial in accelerating the flow of public services that often directly intersect with citizens' administrative needs, such as changes in population data and other legal matters.

Mayor of Pontianak, Edi Rusdi Kamtono, emphasized the importance of technological adaptation in the government sector. According to him, digital innovation must be accompanied by a humanist and transparent approach to improve the quality of service to the community. He urged regional officials to capitalize on this momentum to integrate government services with an increasingly open judicial system.

Chief Judge of the Pontianak District Court, Dr. I Dewa Gede Dharma Asmara, added that modernization is not merely a transition to digital systems, but a fundamental effort to guarantee access to justice for all levels of society. "Technology is just a tool, but public trust is the main goal. We are committed to delivering a professional judiciary that is free from corruption through the utilization of information technology," he stressed.

Meanwhile, Pontianak District Court Judge Rina Lestari Br. Sembiring gave a technical presentation on the effectiveness of court case administration management. The use of digital systems is expected to create a legal process that is simple, fast, and low-cost. Through an interactive discussion, participants gained a deep understanding so that they can serve as a bridge for citizens needing access to more efficient court services with legal certainty.
