Bank OCBC is expanding banking convenience for corporate clients by introducing bilateral transaction facilities in the local currencies of destination countries. This strategic step includes the direct use of United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED), Thai Baht (THB), and South Korean Won (KRW) without going through an intermediary currency.

This innovation is aimed at supporting business players in Indonesia targeting Asian and Middle Eastern markets. By eliminating intermediary conversion, clients can enjoy more efficient transaction processes, more competitive costs, and more accurate cash flow management in their international trade activities.

Gianto Kusno, Head of Transaction Banking at OCBC, stated that the launch of this service represents the bank's commitment to enhancing client competitiveness in the global market. This service is designed for flexible access, both in person at branch offices and through the OCBC Business digital platform, which is accessible anytime and anywhere.

This latest facility can be optimized by various types of business clients, ranging from Giro Business Smart to Giro Multicurrency account holders. With simplified banking access support, OCBC hopes to become the primary partner for Indonesian companies in strengthening strategic partnerships, boosting export activities, and navigating cross-border business expansion with greater confidence.
