The Third Vice President of the Central Executive Board of the Bekasi Youth and Student Forum (DPP FORMASI), Nigel, expressed his support for the Bekasi Regency Government's initiative to review Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 3 of 2016 concerning Tourism Implementation. The main focus of this revision lies in the management of the nightlife sector to make it more directed and bring a positive impact to the region.
According to Nigel, the nightlife sector has significant economic potential if managed under comprehensive, transparent regulations, accompanied by strict supervision. He emphasized that this step is crucial to ensure that the sector can make an optimal contribution to Regional Original Revenue (PAD), which can later be allocated for infrastructure development and the improvement of public services in Bekasi Regency.
Furthermore, Nigel emphasized the importance of legal certainty for business actors. With updated regulations, the investment climate in the region is expected to become more orderly and accountable. He hopes that the local government can guarantee that every business actor complies with licensing provisions and established zoning regulations without neglecting aspects of public order.
