The Sukabumi Regency Government continues its efforts to encourage Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt digital technology in their business operations. This step is considered crucial for expanding market reach and improving product sales efficiency in the modern era.
During a socialization event organized by the Telecommunications and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital in Sukabumi City on Monday (29/06/2026), the Vice Regent of Sukabumi, H. Andreas, shared his experience regarding the effectiveness of technology-based marketing. He highlighted how optimizing digital platforms has proven capable of significantly boosting sales volume, even when facing economic challenges during difficult times.
According to Andreas, technology is the main key for entrepreneurs to break through the boundaries of space and time. He emphasized that MSME actors who adapt to digital trends have a greater opportunity to market their products internationally, thereby increasing the regional economic contribution.
Echoing these sentiments, Arfa Gunawan, a member of the Supervisory Board of Bakti Komdigi, stated that this digital transformation program is designed as a catalyst so that the public, particularly MSME actors, can operate digital devices more productively. He hopes that the technological accessibility support provided will make it easier for business owners to sustainably scale up their operations.
