The Tanjungpinang City Government continues its efforts to expand market networks and enhance the competitiveness of local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This concrete step was demonstrated by the Mayor of Tanjungpinang, H. Lis Darmansyah, S.H., during a working visit to the organic commodity producer CV Manna Anugerah Sejahtera in the Candi Industrial Area, Semarang, Central Java.
CV Manna Anugerah Sejahtera, founded by Steven Santoso in 2010, is widely known as a leading export-oriented producer of organic coconut sugar, palm sugar, and Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). To date, these high-quality products have successfully penetrated international markets in more than 30 countries, spanning North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Ghana on the African continent.
The company owner, Steven Santoso, explained that the high global market demand for these organic products is driven by growing global awareness of healthy living. Organic-based commodities have now become a new favorite in the international market, with export shipments from his company reaching up to six times a month.
Mayor Lis Darmansyah highly appreciated CV Manna Anugerah Sejahtera's commitment to maintaining consistent quality of healthy food products with global standards. Lis assessed that such health products have huge domestic market potential alongside the growing awareness of healthy lifestyles in the country.
As a follow-up step, the Tanjungpinang City Government expressed its commitment to facilitating business-to-business (B2B) collaboration between MSME actors in Tanjungpinang and the producer. This strategic partnership is expected to enable business knowledge transfer while generating a positive economic impact for both parties.
