The Regional Government-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, PT Flobamor (Perseroda), is preparing for a major business expansion targeted for realization in 2027. The state-owned enterprise plans to build a poultry slaughterhouse facility and an animal feed mill.
This strategic plan was presented directly to the Acting Governor of NTT, Melki Laka Lena, as the controlling shareholder. The presentation was delivered during the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS-LB) of PT Flobamor on Tuesday (4/8/2026).
This diversification step into the livestock and feed industry sectors is expected to reduce NTT's dependence on supplies from outside the region. In addition, this new business projection is targeted to stabilize poultry commodity prices and stimulate the regional economy through the absorption of local labor.
