Tech company SRKK AI Berhad has officially expanded its business footprint into Indonesia by establishing a local entity named PT SRKK Consulting Indonesia, based in Jakarta. This strategic move was realized as part of the company's regional expansion plans following its successful Initial Public Offering (IPO).

To support its market penetration in the country, SRKK AI has allocated RM 1.84 million of fresh funds from the IPO. Marking its initial step, the company, which focuses on artificial intelligence solutions, immediately secured its first project in Indonesia with a contract value of 60,000 USD (approximately RM 244,590), after successfully completing four proof-of-concept projects in Jakarta over the past year.

Chief Executive Officer of SRKK AI, Yew Lip Sin, revealed that the funds raised from the stock exchange serve as a key catalyst to accelerate business growth in the Southeast Asian region. To lead local operations, the company has appointed Edmund Situmorang as President Director of PT SRKK Consulting Indonesia, who will be supported by a team of local data and AI technical architect experts.

This expansion decision is driven by the bright prospects of the digital transformation industry in Indonesia. The market value of this sector is projected to experience significant growth, from around IDR 1,054.1 trillion in 2026 to IDR 1,270.7 trillion by 2028.
