The Teacher and Education Personnel Center (BGTK) of Lampung Province has joined forces with the Institute of Informatics and Business (IIB) Darmajaya to organize a special training session for teachers in Tulang Bawang Regency. The training, which took place on July 7–8, 2026, focused on the utilization of Digital Interactive Boards (PID) and the integration of modern technology-based learning models.

During the event, Novi Herawati Sudibyo, S.Kom., M.T.I., a lecturer from the Computer Systems Study Program at IIB Darmajaya, served as the main speaker. She guided educators on how to align the use of PID with innovative learning methods such as Problem Based Learning (PBL), Project Based Learning (PjBL), and Cooperative Learning to create a more dynamic classroom atmosphere.

In addition to theory, participants took part in practical simulations ranging from managing interactive multimedia content and creating digital quizzes to utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and cloud computing. These skills are expected to transform technology from a mere presentation tool into an interactive, student-centered collaborative medium.

According to Novi, digital transformation in schools is not just about replacing conventional blackboards with digital screens, but about designing learning experiences that spark critical thinking in students. Strong digital literacy is key for teachers to prepare the younger generation for the Society 5.0 era.

This collaboration highlights the active role of higher education institutions in supporting the improvement of educational quality in Lampung. Through this program, IIB Darmajaya is committed to continuing its contribution to producing adaptive human resources ready to meet the challenges of global technological developments.
