The Pakualaman Sector Police (Polsek) in Yogyakarta demonstrated a tangible commitment to supporting the improvement of public health standards by attending the Cross-Sector Mini-Workshop. This event focused on formulating strategic measures to effectively reduce the number of stunting cases in the area.
The meeting, which involved various stakeholders, was attended by the local health office, district (kemantren) officials, community leaders, and elements of the TNI (military) and Polri (police). This cross-sectoral synergy is considered crucial because addressing malnutrition and child development requires integrated cooperation that goes beyond the medical sector alone.
In addition to focusing on health issues in Pakualaman, police ranks under the Yogyakarta City Police (Polresta) continue to strengthen their presence in the community through various social and development activities. These range from community assistance by Bhabinkamtibmas (community police officers) in Danurejan, social care initiatives such as condolence visits (takziah) in Kotagede, to the retirement ceremony of personnel in Mantrijeron.
Through active participation in this workshop, it is hoped that the health monitoring process for toddlers and the distribution of targeted nutritional aid can run more optimally. The Pakualaman Sector Police reaffirmed their readiness to safeguard government programs to foster a healthy, stunting-free future generation.
