Bosch Home Appliances Indonesia officially introduced a smart home ecosystem specifically designed to increase household management efficiency. This step was taken in response to shifting urban lifestyles that are increasingly dynamic and require practical solutions for managing daily routines.
CEO of Bosch Home Appliances Indonesia, Anil Narula, explained that this innovation stems from a deep understanding of the challenges faced by modern families, particularly dual-income couples. The company strives to provide technology that not only saves energy, but also makes it easier to serve healthy meals amidst busy schedules.
This trend is supported by data from the State of Motherhood 2026 survey, which highlights that managing household workloads remains a primary challenge for modern mothers. In line with this, the adoption of smart home technology in Indonesia is showing positive growth, with the number of users increasing significantly year over year.
To address these needs, Bosch embeds artificial intelligence (AI) into its flagship product lineup, such as the Oven Series 8. This appliance allows users to precisely control the cooking process via the Home Connect app, ranging from sending recipes automatically to remote monitoring. Beyond the kitchen, efficiency is also brought to washing machines through i-DOS technology, which intelligently dispenses water and detergent according to the load capacity.
Head of Corporate Communications and Government Relations at Bosch Indonesia, Fenny Sofyan, emphasized that the presence of this technology aims to provide comfort and peace of mind for users. For Bosch, the home of the future is not merely a house filled with electronic devices, but a smart ecosystem capable of understanding and meeting its residents' needs sustainably.
