Police officers from the Siak Police Department conducted an enforcement operation against several nightlife venues in Kandis District, Siak Regency, early Friday morning (10/7/2026). This step was taken as part of the police force's preventive efforts to maintain public order and security in the region.
The operation, which began at 01:30 WIB, was led directly by the Head of the Siak Police Narcotics Unit, Police Commissioner Assistant (AKP) Benny Afriandi Siregar, involving joint personnel from the Intelligence and Security Unit, Narcotics Unit of Siak Police, and the Criminal Investigation Unit of Kandis Police. The main focus of this activity was to conduct administrative supervision and check the operational legality of the entertainment venues.
Based on field inspections, officers found three business locations that had not met their licensing obligations. These locations are Bintang Coffee Karaoke on Jalan Libo Lama Km 73, as well as Pujasera Karaoke and AeON Cafe Karaoke, both located on Jalan Raya Km 82, Kandis Kota Village.
AKP Benny Afriandi Siregar explained that the three venues lacked the complete documentation required by the government. For instance, Bintang Coffee Karaoke was found operating six karaoke rooms without a valid business permit. Meanwhile, Pujasera Karaoke and AeON Cafe Karaoke have reportedly not completed environmental permit documents, Building Functionality Certificates (SLF), or risk-based business permits.
The police emphasized that this crackdown was carried out to ensure that every business owner complies with applicable regulations. Moving forward, business owners are urged to immediately apply for permit documents so that their operations have a clear legal standing and do not harm the community or the region.
