The Surakarta Community Association (PMS) commemorated its 94th anniversary by taking concrete action for business actors in the city of Solo and its surroundings. In this celebration, the community organization provided business education services, free legal consultation, and free data updates for the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI) to encourage the legality of local businesses.
This step was taken as a form of PMS's concern for strengthening the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector. In the current era of licensing digitalization, many local business actors still face administrative obstacles, especially in adjusting the latest KBLI codes on the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, which is an absolute requirement for business validity.
In addition to facilitating KBLI data updates, entrepreneurs were also given the opportunity to consult directly with professional legal experts. This legal consultation service is expected to resolve various business law issues often faced by business actors, ranging from drafting employment contracts and trademark protection to business regulatory compliance.
Through this noble initiative at nearly a century old, PMS continues to commit to strengthening its position as a strategic partner in regional development. This sustainable empowerment program is expected to increase the competitiveness of Solo's MSMEs and create a healthier regional investment climate with permanent legal standing.
