The euphoria of the 2026 World Cup in Bengkulu Province not only offers prestigious sports entertainment for the public, but also serves as an economic driver for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The public viewing event (nobar), organized through a collaboration between TVRI Bengkulu, LKBN Antara Bengkulu Bureau, and RRI Bengkulu, has successfully created an interactive space combining entertainment and economic empowerment.
Head of TVRI Bengkulu, Fonda Rafael, revealed that business owners' enthusiasm for this initiative is extremely high. To date, as many as 100 MSME operators have been provided with facilities and dedicated space to market their featured products to the attending audience.
This synergy among broadcasting institutions is expected to create a dual impact: fulfilling the public's entertainment needs while serving as an effective promotional platform for local MSMEs to expand their market reach. This step is seen as a concrete strategy to support the growth of the creative economy in Bengkulu through the momentum of an international sporting event.
