Astra Motor South Sumatra (Sumsel), as the main Honda motorcycle dealer in the South Sumatra region and part of PT Astra International Tbk, officially held an automotive exhibition titled *Public Exhibition New Honda Vario Evo 160*. Located at Palembang Square Mall, this event took place over two full days on July 25–26, 2026, to directly greet the local community.
This event was designed to introduce the updates of the New Honda Vario Evo 160, which carries a more premium and masculine design. One of the main attractions for visitors was the line-up of modified units displayed with various popular concepts, ranging from racing style, street style, to elegant style. The presence of these custom bikes served as a stimulus for creativity for automotive lovers in Palembang in modifying their vehicles without sacrificing the bike's original performance.
In addition to viewing the aesthetics of the modifications, visitors were also given the opportunity to explore the advanced features and latest technology embedded in this sporty scooter. The Honda team was also standby on-site to serve consultations regarding purchase packages, special promos, and the selection of official accessories for consumers.
Marketing Manager of Astra Motor Sumsel, Adrian Arlim, revealed that this exhibition is not just a means to showcase new units, but a hub of inspiration for riders who want to express their personal character through their motorcycles. He hopes the people of Palembang can directly experience the premium riding experience offered by the New Honda Vario Evo 160.
Public enthusiasm was highly visible through the attendance of thousands of visitors during the exhibition. Various exciting agendas also enlivened the event, starting from e-Football competitions, dance and band competitions, a performance by the music group Kopral Jono, to the Fun Night Run event on the first day. Entering the second day, the excitement continued with a Beyblade competition, a fashion show, and a sing-along activity through an interactive Noraebang session.
