Entering trading on Monday, July 6, 2026, the price of gold bars produced by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) was observed moving variably across various weight options. Based on data from Antam's Precious Metals Processing and Refining Unit, the smallest precious metal investment instrument, 0.5 grams, is now marketed at Rp1,385,500.
For the 1-gram weight unit, Antam set the price at Rp2,670,000. Meanwhile, for investors interested in medium-weight precious metals, the price of 5-gram gold was set at Rp13,125,000, and for 10 grams, it was sold at Rp26,195,000.
The collection of gold bars in the heavier categories also showed price adjustments. Gold weighing 25 grams was priced at Rp65,362,000, followed by the 50-gram size valued at Rp130,645,000. For large-scale investments, 100-gram gold was offered at Rp261,212,000, while the 500-gram and 1,000-gram weights were set at Rp1,305,320,000 and Rp2,610,600,000, respectively.
On the other hand, Antam's gold buyback price today remained stagnant at Rp2,429,000 per gram. It should be noted that reselling gold back to Antam is subject to income tax provisions in accordance with Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 34/PMK.10/2017.
These regulations specify an Income Tax (PPh) 22 deduction of 1.5% for NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number) holders and 3% for non-NPWP holders on buyback transactions exceeding Rp10 million. Meanwhile, every gold bar purchase is also subject to PPh 22 of 0.45% for NPWP holders and 0.9% for non-NPWP holders, where every purchase transaction is guaranteed to be accompanied by valid tax withholding proof.
