The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar successfully achieved a brilliant accomplishment by claiming the title of Overall Champion at the International Business Competition. This prestigious international competition was held at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Johor, on Saturday (11/7/2026).
This remarkable victory was not achieved overnight, but through an intensive guidance and preparation process lasting approximately three months. During the preparation period, students went through a series of rigorous selection stages, formulation of sustainable digital business concepts, creation of presentation videos, and simulations before advisor lecturers.
In this event, FEB Unismuh sent a delegation consisting of 26 students divided into eight working teams. Their academic journey was accompanied by four advisor lecturers: Dr. Mira, Dr. Edi Jusriadi, Dr. M. Yusuf Alfian Rendra Anggoro KR, and Dr. Samsul Rizal. This active participation was facilitated by the Board of Cooperation and International Affairs (LKUI) of Unismuh Makassar to support the university's internationalization program.
In the Video Competition category, the Unismuh delegation dominated the award wins. The Eco Crystal team won the Best Creativity Award (Silver Medal), followed by Bake Euphoria with the Best Video Production Award (Bronze Medal). In addition, the EcoCycle Hub team won the Best Story Telling Award (Bronze Medal), and TapauHero secured the Best Social Impact Award (Silver Medal). This success was further complemented by gold medals won by Kelompok 2 and SisaSayur, a silver medal by SaveBite, and a bronze medal by LilinLebih.
Similar achievements were demonstrated in the Poster Competition category. The Bag2Earth team successfully brought home the Best Business Strategy Award as well as a gold medal thanks to its eco-friendly business orientation.
