Gelora Pancasila, Surabaya, bore witness to the prowess of Central Java's sepak takraw athletes during the Region 2 Indonesian Sepak Takraw League (LSI), which ran for four days from July 1 to 4, 2026. In the men's division, the Petarung Jawa Tengah team secured the top spot on the podium after overcoming fierce resistance from the host team, Sayap Mas Jawa Timur, in the final match. Meanwhile, the joint third place was achieved by two other strong teams: J Indo Sport Club from West Java and Banten Jawara.

An equally impressive performance was displayed by the Central Java women's team. The third-place position in the women's division was shared by Sayap Mas Jawa Timur and PSTI Badung from Bali.
