The martial arts contingent of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 2 South Lampung achieved a brilliant performance at the provincial level. In the 2026 Lampung Student Olympic held from July 31 to August 2, 2026, the young athletes of this madrasah successfully secured a total of four medals in the karate sport category.
The tournament, centered at the Siger Sports Hall (GOR), brought together talented students from all over Lampung Province. The delegation of MTsN 2 South Lampung dominated the competition, clinching two gold medals won by Arzenta Aulia Natasya and Shahlan Rifa'i. Meanwhile, the silver medals were secured by Putri Angelia and Tiara Rahma Assyifa, respectively.
The Head of MTsN 2 South Lampung, Nurkholis, expressed his deep appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the students. According to him, this outstanding achievement is the sweet fruit of consistent, disciplined training, full support from parents, and the tireless guidance of the teachers at the madrasah.
