The Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan enlivened the 24th Anniversary of Pulang Pisau Regency by organizing a Subsidized Market Movement (GPM) and free health check-up services. The event, which took place at H. M. Sanusi Stadium, Pulang Pisau, on Saturday (11/07/2026), was attended directly by the Governor of Central Kalimantan, Agustiar Sabran, accompanied by Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo.

The arrival of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government delegation was warmly welcomed by the Regent of Pulang Pisau, Ahmad Rifa’i, who expressed high appreciation for the provincial government's attention to its people. This anniversary momentum is interpreted as an expression of gratitude as well as tangible proof of collaboration between the provincial and regional governments in easing the economic burden of citizens through essential food subsidies.

In its implementation, Governor Agustiar Sabran explained that this subsidized market program provides a 30 percent subsidy for beneficiary groups, ranging from low-ranking civil servants, contract workers (P3K), sanitation staff, to low-income communities. This initiative is part of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government's ongoing commitment to ensuring the state's presence among the people throughout the Bumi Tambun Bungai region.

Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan, Edy Pratowo, also emphasized that the government continues to monitor the distribution of the Huma Betang Sejahtera Card (KHBS). This comprehensive program is designed to strengthen food security stability while providing access to social assistance covering the education, health, and economic empowerment sectors for people in need.
