UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung reaffirms its commitment to raising an outstanding generation by holding the Achievement Track (Japres) selection for new student admissions in 2026. A total of 379 prospective participants took part in the face-to-face selection stages held from July 6 to 9, 2026.

This admissions scheme is specifically designed as an appreciation for students with a track record of achievements at both regency and city levels. The competitive fields encompass a wide range of interests, ranging from academics, arts, sports, to leadership and organizational skills, such as Scouts (Pramuka), Flag Raising Troop (Paskibra), and experience as Student Council President (Ketua OSIS).

Head of the New Student Admissions Center (PMB) at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Dr. Mohamad Erihadiana, M.Pd., stated that this track provides space for young talents to continue developing their potential within the campus environment. The university hopes that students admitted through this track can make tangible contributions to the future development of the campus.

Data from the PMB committee shows high enthusiasm across various categories. The highest interest was recorded in the Scouts category with 64 applicants, followed by sports such as Futsal, Pencak Silat, and other athletic talents. In addition, religious fields such as Qur'an Recitation (Tilawatil Qur’an) and Islamic Preaching (Da’i/Da’iah) were also major focuses in this selection.

The entire selection process ran smoothly, and the university is scheduled to announce the results on July 15, 2026. Through this Achievement Track, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung is optimistic about attracting students who are not only knowledgeable but also possess strong character and tough leadership qualities.
