The Acting Regent of Murung Raya, Heriyus, conducted a direct inspection of Willy M. Yoseph Stadium, Puruk Cahu, to ensure all preparations ahead of the Public Entertainment Night run smoothly. The field inspection activity, which took place on Tuesday (28/7/2026) afternoon, was carried out to ensure the success of the peak celebration of the 24th Anniversary of Murung Raya Regency.
During the inspection, Regent Heriyus was accompanied by the organizing committee and related officials. The entourage examined in detail the construction of the main stage, the layout of the spectator area, accessibility for entering and exiting vehicles, availability of supporting facilities, and the security arrangement scheme during the event.
Heriyus emphasized that this public party is an important momentum for the regional government to show appreciation as well as provide quality entertainment for the wider community. Therefore, the safety, comfort, and orderliness of visitors are top priorities that must be prepared thoroughly.
"This public party is organized specifically to entertain all elements of the Murung Raya community. I ask the organizing committee and security forces to continue strengthening coordination on the ground so that the event on the day can run orderly, safely, and conductively, as well as leave a positive impression on everyone attending," Heriyus said.
The Public Entertainment Night event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, starting at 18:00 WIB at Willy M. Yoseph Stadium. The event is predicted to attract thousands of citizens as it features the national legendary band, Ungu, and singer Faris Adam.
Not only presenting performances by national guest stars, the celebration stage will also be enlivened by a line-up of local talents from Central Kalimantan, including Ling Ling Puput, Yanson, Jems Jiva, and the Ganfash Band. The regional government also urges the public who attend to always maintain the cleanliness of the stadium environment and comply with the instructions of officers on duty.
