High enthusiasm marked the 3rd Classical Manasik organized by the Hajj and Umrah Worship Guidance Group (KBIHU) 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta City at the Islamic Centre Mosque of Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), Sunday (5/7/2026). Despite being dominated by elderly prospective pilgrims, the participants' spirit remained undaunted in receiving materials on physical, mental, and spiritual readiness to achieve a mabrur Hajj.

Chairman of KBIHU 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta City, Ir. H. Rowi Sutaryo, emphasized the importance of fulfilling the istithaah (capability) requirements, not only from a financial aspect but also in mastering manasik knowledge and physical health conditions. Pilgrims were reminded to monitor their fitness early on and ensure the completeness of travel administration documents so that the departure process runs smoothly.

Chairman of MDMC PP Muhammadiyah, H. Budi Setiawan, ST, who was present as a speaker, highlighted the urgency of mitigation during the Hajj pilgrimage. Considering severe challenges such as extreme weather and pilgrim density, Budi stressed the importance of resilience. According to him, sound understanding and routine physical exercise can minimize risks, enabling pilgrims to adapt to the dynamic environment in the Holy Land.

Meanwhile, drg. Rohadanti, MPH from the Yogyakarta City Health Office provided deep guidance on the importance of health istithaah. Based on 2026 data, she noted the need for intensive health assistance for the majority of pilgrims. She reminded prospective pilgrims to consistently maintain their health, comply with medical team recommendations, and ensure active health insurance coverage until departure.

KBIHU 'Aisyiyah is committed to continuing to accompany pilgrims in various aspects, including emergency preparedness and routine health management. Through this ongoing education, it is hoped that pilgrims can perform the entire series of Hajj rituals safely, securely, and devoutly.
