The Dong Thuan Commune People's Committee officially launched a massive campaign aimed at raising awareness and public participation in voluntary social and health insurance programs. This strategic effort is the result of cross-sector collaboration between the local government, the Social Insurance Office, and the Thoi Lai Regional Post Office.
The launch event was attended by several high-ranking local officials, including Dong Thuan Commune Party Committee Secretary Tong Van Nhin and People's Committee Chairman Le Tien Dung. The presence of these policymakers underlines the government's serious commitment to ensuring more equitable social protection for all levels of society in the region.
As a concrete step, six outreach teams have been deployed to three main hamlet areas, namely Dong Hoa, Dong Thanh, and Dong Loi. These teams are tasked with providing in-depth education regarding the latest regulations, long-term protection benefits, and ease of access to family social and health insurance schemes.
Through this initiative, the local government aims for a significant increase in the number of insurance participants by 2026. This step is expected to create a more inclusive social safety net, ensuring that citizens have adequate financial protection when facing health risks or needs in old age.
