The National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI) Surakarta has taken a strategic step to minimize juvenile delinquency by optimizing extracurricular activities in schools. This initiative is projected as a preventive instrument to channel students' energy toward more positive, productive, and achievement-oriented endeavors.

The Chairman of KONI Surakarta, Her Suprabu, emphasized that sports are not merely a means of physical training, but also an effective medium for character building and moral education for the younger generation. The program is expected to safeguard students against various social threats, such as drug abuse and other deviant behaviors that are currently a serious concern in society.

To strengthen this coaching program, KONI Surakarta has established a cross-sectoral partnership with the Surakarta District Prosecutor's Office (Kejari). This collaboration is realized through a series of legal awareness campaigns targeting school environments, particularly on the sidelines of sports tournaments such as the ongoing Adias League.

The presence of the Prosecutor's Office within the student community is expected to provide a deeper legal understanding regarding the consequences of criminal acts and social dynamics. Through the synergy between sports talent development and preventive education, the Surakarta City Government is optimistic about creating a safer and more guided educational ecosystem for the nation's next generation.
