MAN (30), a woman who was the victim of domestic violence committed by an active police officer with the initials Aiptu N, has now been referred to Gunung Jati Regional Hospital, Cirebon City. The decision for intensive care was taken after the victim's condition worsened due to burn injuries from an acid attack that were not properly treated for months.
Raden Reza Pramadia, a member of the legal counsel team from Hotman 911, revealed that this medical step was a follow-up to cross-agency coordination. Previously, the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA), along with a team from the National Police Headquarters (Mabes Polri), made a direct visit to the safe house where the victim was seeking refuge in Cirebon Regency to give special attention.
It is known that the burns suffered by MAN occurred back in September 2025. However, the medical recovery process was previously hampered due to a lack of responsibility from the alleged perpetrator, forcing the victim to stop hospital treatment prematurely. Until now, the victim had only received makeshift care consisting of changing bandages and self-administering antibiotics, which actually worsened the condition of her wounds.
During the visit, in addition to ensuring that the victim's health rights were met through hospitalization, the Minister of PPPA also provided moral support to MAN. The legal defense team hopes that with intensive supervision from medical staff at Gunung Jati Regional Hospital, the victim's recovery process can proceed thoroughly and effectively, alongside the ongoing legal proceedings being conducted by the National Police Headquarters team.
