The legendary music group Padi Reborn has once again made a breakthrough in the national entertainment industry. Through an event titled "Exclusive Limited Screening Konser Dua Delapan", the Surabaya-originated band transformed concert documentation into a premium performance cinema format, which premiered at Studio 1 XXI Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/7/2026).
This ambitious project is the fruit of a strategic collaboration between Padi Reborn, Megapro Communications, and NorthStar Entertainment. Unlike conventional concert documentations, this work is designed to recreate the futuristic 360-degree stage atmosphere, supported by precise Dolby audio technology.
Padi Reborn's vocalist, Fadly, explained that this initiative was born out of a desire to capture the emotional moments during the band's 28th anniversary celebration earlier this year. For the group, this concert cinema is not just an archive, but a medium to nurture emotional bonds with their loyal fans, Sobat Padi, through immersive audio-visual quality.
Echoing this sentiment, Padi Reborn's guitarist, Piyu, emphasized the importance of high production standards so that the complexity of the musical arrangements can be perfectly conveyed in the cinema. On the same occasion, they also introduced the lyric video for the song "Punah", which is the third single from the album "28".
The promoters, Ahmad Qomaru Zaman from Megapro Communications and Ali Lipto from NorthStar Entertainment, stated that the transition process from a live stage to the cinema medium requires high precision. They believe that this step is a concrete effort in building a legacy for Padi Reborn's musical journey amidst the rapid development of the digital era.
