The annual Sawit Indonesia Expo and Conference (SIEXPO) is preparing to welcome stakeholders of the country's palm oil industry once again. Entering its fourth edition, this large-scale exhibition is scheduled to take place from August 6 to 8, 2026, at Ska Co-Ex, Pekanbaru, Riau, with a focus on showcasing the latest innovations and technologies supporting the upstream to downstream palm oil sectors.
SIEXPO 2026 Marketing Director, Yasin Permana, revealed that this year's edition has seen a significant increase in participation. More than 200 exhibitors are confirmed to participate, bringing around 500 ready-to-use modern products and technologies. The exhibition is expected to serve as a strategic meeting space that brings together farmers, business actors, regulators, and technology providers to collaborate directly.
The organizers target the creation of direct transactions at the exhibition venue. Reflecting on the success of the previous year's event, market enthusiasm for plantation support products remains very high. Various operational needs ranging from superior seeds, high-quality fertilizers, and pesticides, to logistics vehicles and heavy equipment are expected to dominate transaction activities.
In the previous SIEXPO 2025, the transaction volume was recorded as highly significant. Palm oil seed sales even surpassed one million sprouted seeds in just three days. The transportation and heavy equipment sectors also recorded positive results, such as the purchase of a fleet of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) trucks by PT Humaya Kiat Perkasa, as well as sales of excavator and compactor units from several well-known manufacturers.
The high transaction figures in the previous edition prove that the domestic market places great trust in the modern agricultural technologies showcased at this event. The presence of SIEXPO 2026 in Pekanbaru is expected to stimulate regional economic growth while driving the efficiency of a sustainable national palm oil industry supply chain.
