The Lumajang Regency Government continues to strengthen the quality of bureaucracy through the Semeru Corpu Lumajang Series 6 program. The event, held on Friday (3/7/2026) at the Nararya Kirana Room, Lumajang Regent's Office, was specifically designed to spur competence, professionalism, and the spirit of innovation among all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the local regency government environment.

Lumajang Regent, Indah Amperawati, emphasized in her direction that challenges in the modern era demand a more dynamic bureaucracy. According to her, the quality of service to the public heavily depends on an apparatus mindset that adapts to changing times. This program adopted the crucial theme of “Regional Autonomy and the Urgency of Building Innovative Regions,” which served as the primary focus for human resource development.

Appearing as a speaker, Siti Zuhro, Senior Researcher at the Political Research Center of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), explained the importance of instilling a culture of innovation as a foundation for regional development. Zuhro stressed that innovation must not merely be a jargon, but must be integrated into every daily operational action of civil servants for the sake of public service efficiency.

Through this continuous initiative, the Lumajang Regency Government holds high hopes that civil servants can become a responsive and accountable front line. Regent Indah Amperawati reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring that every element of the bureaucracy in Lumajang is capable of making swift, effective, and real contributions in line with the needs of the broader community.
