The annual arts exhibition and music festival SkyAvenue 2026, initiated by SMA Labschool Kebayoran students, successfully mesmerized thousands of visitors at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday (1/8). Carrying a creative concept that combines art performances with environmental awareness action, this grand event managed to attract audience interest to the point that all available tickets were sold out.
The main stage of SkyAvenue was enlivened by a lineup of the country's top musicians, ranging from RAN, Raisa, Kahitna, Dia x Naykilla, Dewa 19 featuring Arlissa, to Marcello Tahitoe (Ello). Stunning performances from the acts successfully brought a warm and lively atmosphere, with thousands of spectators singing along throughout the concert.
Chairman of the SkyAvenue 2026 Committee, Nadhif Safei Daulay, revealed that thorough preparations had been carried out for approximately ten months. Remarkably, the entire series of activities, from the planning stage to execution on the ground, was managed independently by more than 500 students without using the services of professional promoters or event organizers.
With the grand theme "Ascension of the Eterniverse," the festival visualized four elements of nature: forest, ocean, urban, and ice. Through this representation, the committee sought to spread educational messages about the dangers of global warming and the importance of preserving the Earth to the young generation in attendance.
The commitment to ecological issues was also realized through a collaboration with Setali Indonesia to utilize patchwork fabric waste for event decoration. This partnership gave birth to a giant art installation in the shape of a tree made of recycled fabric, which won an award from the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI). Through this event, SMA Labschool Kebayoran hopes the festival serves not only as an entertainment space but also as an educational medium with a real impact.
