The Governing Board of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (BPC Hipmi) Bandung City has launched a strategic initiative to boost the regional economy through the creation of business incubators across all districts. This step is realized through cross-sector collaboration involving DPD KNPI Bandung City, Kadin Bandung City, and Telkom University.
The agreement was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Hutanika, Jalan Asia Afrika, Bandung City, on Friday (3/7/2026). This synergy is designed to address current economic challenges by integrating academic expertise, business networks, and youth organization.
General Chairman of BPC Hipmi Bandung City, Ibrahim Imaduddin Islam, emphasized that district business incubators will serve as centers for training, mentoring, and capital access for prospective new entrepreneurs. According to him, this collaboration is crucial for empowering the younger generation to be economically independent and create job opportunities for the broader community.
Echoing these sentiments, Chairman of DPD KNPI Bandung City, Bena Aji Satria, stated that his organization is committed to transforming youth organizations into platforms that generate real impacts on community welfare. Support from Telkom University in terms of research and Kadin in industry networking is expected to foster a sustainable business ecosystem for startups in Bandung.
