PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) and its subsidiary, PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), officially signed the Renewal of the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) for the 2026–2028 period with the Trade Union in Jakarta on Tuesday (6/25/2026). This strategic step titled "CLA as a Pillar of HR Strengthening for National Energy Sovereignty" is expected to strengthen collaboration in creating upstream oil and gas operations that are safe, reliable, and compliant with regulations.
This important agreement was signed directly by the President Director of PHI, Sunaryanto, and the President of the PHI Trade Union, Aditya Nugraha. The ceremony was witnessed directly by the Head of the Sub-Department of Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy of South Jakarta Administrative City, Syamwil, and attended by the management of Pertamina Subholding Upstream and related stakeholders.
President Director of PHI, Sunaryanto, emphasized that human resources (HR) are a crucial asset in supporting the company's vision to produce oil and natural gas sustainably. Harmonious industrial relations between management and workers are seen as the key to ensuring smooth operations that support national energy security.
The new CLA will come into effect from June 25, 2026, to June 24, 2028, and will be immediately registered with the local labor authority. This document sets out comprehensive regulations ranging from the rights and obligations of both parties, health facility standards, wage system adjustments, to mechanisms for preventing industrial relations disputes.
At the same time, PT PHSS also agreed on a similar CLA signed by Sunaryanto as President Director and General Chairman of the PHSS Trade Union, Aditia Hermanu. The signing was witnessed by representatives from the Transmigration and Manpower Department of Kutai Kartanegara Regency and representatives of SKK Migas.
As part of Pertamina's Upstream Subholding operating in the Regional 3 Kalimantan area, PHI recorded positive performance with oil production reaching 58 thousand barrels per day (MBOPD) and gas at 630 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) in 2025. Through the implementation of ESG principles, the company is committed to supplying sustainable energy for Indonesia.
