Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed high optimism regarding the future of economic collaboration between his country and business leaders in Sweden as well as the broader European region. According to him, deeper synergy will create a mutually beneficial business ecosystem for all parties involved.

The statement was made by Wang following a bilateral meeting with the Chairman of Investor AB, Jacob Wallenberg, in Stockholm on July 4. This meeting served as a strategic momentum for both sides to review the potential for cooperation amidst continuously evolving global market dynamics.

On that occasion, Wang specifically expressed appreciation to the Wallenberg family. He acknowledged the business group's significant contribution as one of the first European entities that dared to invest in China since the inception of the reform and economic opening-up policy decades ago.

This diplomatic step reflects Beijing's ongoing efforts to maintain stable trade relations with European partners, while ensuring that investment doors remain open despite increasingly complex international geopolitical challenges.
