The Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) at August 17, 1945 University (Untag) Semarang has officially established a strategic partnership with the Food, Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries Service (PPPP) of Blora Regency. This collaborative step focuses on strengthening human resources (HR) and applying the latest technology in the agricultural sector through education, research, and community service mechanisms.
The agreement was formalized through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) at the Blora PPPP Service office on Tuesday (30/6/2026). The cooperation document was signed directly by the Dean of FTP Untag Semarang, Enny Purwati Nurlaili, together with the Head of the Blora Regency PPPP Service, Ngaliman, as a concrete commitment to implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
Enny Purwati Nurlaili emphasized that synergy between academia and regional bureaucracy is key to creating tangible economic impact. According to her, future programs must be practical to address challenges in the field while enhancing the competence of agricultural actors in Blora.
The scope of this cooperation covers a broad spectrum, ranging from technical training, joint research, community outreach, to the development of appropriate technology. Furthermore, this collaboration opens opportunities for students to undergo internships and field practicals, while facilitating expert exchanges between the two institutions.
The Head of the Blora Regency PPPP Service, Ngaliman, expressed high appreciation for this initiative. He hopes that this five-year planned collaboration will act as a catalyst for sustainable innovation, ultimately leading to increased productivity and the welfare of farmers in the Blora Regency area.
