The Regional Executive Board (DPW) of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) of Banten Province officially held a State Defense Camp (Kembara) in the Mount Malang area, Cinangka District, Serang Regency. The three-day event, taking place from July 10 to 12, 2026, was attended by 250 senior members as a strategic effort to strengthen the party's internal structure.
Chairman of DPW PKS Banten, Najib Hamas, emphasized that Kembara is a crucial cadreization instrument designed to forge discipline and leadership qualities among cadres. Through outdoor training, the party aims to increase organizational solidarity, which is seen as vital in responding to the dynamics and complex problems currently faced by society.
In addition to focusing on strengthening nationalistic character, this agenda serves as a momentum to build togetherness among members. By uniting cadres in various physical and mental activities, PKS hopes to produce individuals who are tougher, environmentally conscious, and ready to make tangible contributions to the nation and state.
Meanwhile, Head of the Scouting and State Defense Department of DPW PKS Banten, Hapid, ensured that this initiative will continue periodically. He mentioned that a similar program is scheduled for coming August, targeting Intermediate and Adult members, to ensure all administrative levels possess uniform capacity and state defense spirit in steering regional development.
