BPJS Kesehatan has officially expanded the reach of the National Health Insurance (JKN) Program services through the Layanan Ujung Negeri (LANURI) initiative. This strategic step is specifically designed to bring administrative services closer to communities in frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped (3T) regions, aiming to minimize geographical barriers and digital infrastructure limitations.

In the operational area of the Kediri Branch Office, the implementation of this program is realized through cross-sector collaboration reaching communities in Kediri City, Kediri Regency, Blitar Regency, and Nganjuk Regency. Head of BPJS Kesehatan Kediri Branch, Tutus Novita Dewi, emphasized that the presence of LANURI is a manifestation of the spirit of mutual cooperation in ensuring equal access to healthcare services for all levels of society.

To support its operations, BPJS Kesehatan relies on two main methods: the Virtual Office of Information and Administration Services (VIOLA) and Mobile BPJS. VIOLA is introduced as a video conference-based innovation allowing the public to manage membership administration, obtain information, and file complaints in real time without traveling long distances to branch offices.

National data indicates high public enthusiasm for this digital service, with over 218,000 uses recorded from January to May 2026. The majority of accesses were dominated by Health Insurance Contribution Assistance Recipients (PBI JK) needing assistance with membership data and primary healthcare facilities.

President Director of BPJS Kesehatan, Prihati Pujowaskito, added that the LANURI program is part of the board of directors' 100-day work program, implemented simultaneously at 558 points across Indonesia. This synergy involves various parties, ranging from Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) health institutions, the Merah Putih Village Cooperative network, to regional apparatuses, ensuring the effectiveness of this proactive outreach service is directly felt by those in need.
