PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir officially opened the final round of the 2026 President's Cup U-10 and U-12 Grassroots National Festival held at the JEC Soccer Field, Bantul Regency, on Wednesday (8/7/2026). This event serves as a stage for regional champions from across the country to showcase their skills at the national level.

During the solemn opening ceremony, Erick Thohir symbolically marked the start of the tournament by throwing the first ball and signing a plaque. His presence underscores PSSI's commitment to prioritizing athlete development from an early age as a fundamental element in building a sustainable national football ecosystem.

Scheduled to run until July 12, 2026, the tournament features top football schools and academies from various regions, such as FBS Nusantara from Banjar, Lambhuk FA from Aceh, and Perspin from Pinrang, South Sulawesi.
