The Mobile Specialist Doctor (Speling) program created by the Central Java Provincial Government has once again reached out to the community, this time targeting the NU Medika Clinic in Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency on Saturday (4/7/2026). The presence of this program was enthusiastically welcomed by hundreds of residents who had crowded the location since morning to get free medical check-ups.
Deputy Governor of Central Java, Taj Yasin Maimoen, attended in person to observe the activity. During his visit, he inspected various service facilities provided, ranging from general clinics, dental clinics, to supporting examinations such as blood sugar and cholesterol tests. This service involves collaboration between local healthcare workers and specialists from Prof. Margono Soekarjo Regional General Hospital.
Naimatul, one of the residents queuing up, expressed her gratitude for the program. She admitted that it was very helpful because she could access lung X-ray services without the burden of high costs, an access that was previously felt to be quite difficult to reach.
Taj Yasin emphasized that the Speling initiative is a tangible manifestation of the government's commitment to bringing quality healthcare access closer to the sub-district level. With this proactive approach, people in remote areas no longer need to travel long distances or face financial hurdles to receive care from medical specialists.
