The Tabalong Regency Government has officially completed the revitalization project for the Bangkit Jangkung Market. The introduction of this newly face-lifted infrastructure is projected not only as a weekly commercial transaction center but is also designed to be a multifunctional public space accessible to the wider community.

The Regent of Tabalong, H. Muhammad Noor Rifani, explained that the physical construction concept of the market deliberately features an open structure. This design was chosen so that the market area can be repurposed for various community needs once the main operational day ends. The routine trading activities at the market take place every Friday.

Outside of market days, the building complex can be used to host wedding receptions, religious events, cultural and art performances, social activities, and even sports activities. With this integrated facility, Jangkung residents now have a representative venue for activities without having to struggle to find alternative locations.

To maintain cleanliness, merchant order, and parking management, the local government has entrusted the market's operational management to the Merah Putih Village Cooperative (KDMP). This partnership step is expected to trigger a positive domino effect for local economic growth and improve the welfare of the community in the surrounding area.
