The Jambi Provincial Government has begun finalizing preparations to welcome the 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The Governor of Jambi, Al Haris, directly led the coordination meeting to ensure that the entire series of events runs successfully and provides tangible benefits to the local community.

During the meeting, Governor Al Haris instructed all Regional Government Agencies (OPD) within the Jambi Provincial Government to actively participate. Each agency was asked to commit fully and take responsibility for their assigned committee duties to ensure the smooth running of the national celebration.

Al Haris emphasized that this year's independence anniversary should not merely be a ceremonial event. He wants to present concrete programs that directly address the needs of the residents, such as cheap food bazaars to ease the economic burden, as well as free health check-up services.

In addition to the flag ceremony and developmental parade, this celebration will also be enlivened by public entertainment stages and various sports activities. Planned competitions include padel tournaments, mini soccer, fun walks, and mass gymnastics to strengthen the bond between the government and the community.
