Vietnam Electricity (EVN) Group is taking a strategic step in its service transformation efforts by designing a uniform Code of Business Ethics and Customer Service. This initiative is led by the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC), which is collaborating with a consulting unit to establish a more professional, modern, and customer-oriented behavioral framework.

The draft code of conduct is systematically organized into four chapters, integrating various existing operational procedures with corporate cultural values. The document not only sets technical standards but also emphasizes the importance of ethics, dedication, and courtesy in every interaction between employees and customers. This step aims to minimize service risks while enhancing public satisfaction through a more humanistic and standardized approach.

To ensure effective implementation, EVNSPC has conducted in-depth field surveys covering various customer segments and service types. Additionally, the company has digitized these behavioral guidelines through a mobile application. With easy access, it is expected that all staff can apply these new standards anytime and anywhere, making them an integral part of their daily work culture.

In a discussion seminar attended by EVN's board of directors, stakeholders emphasized the importance of refining the draft based on practical field feedback. Central management urged the acceleration of these regulations so they can be implemented nationwide soon. The integration of digital technology in socialization and training processes is also a key directive to ensure the ethical message is effectively communicated across all levels of the organization.

This project is viewed as a crucial momentum for EVN to improve its corporate image in the public eye. With comprehensive, structured, and easily accessible guidelines, EVN is optimistic about addressing service innovation challenges and strengthening public trust in professional energy provision in the modern era.
