The final match of the 2026 MANIS CUP I football tournament ended dramatically after Cobra FC successfully defeated Putra Mulia FC with a narrow 2-1 score. The fierce decisive match, which took place at Ludung Meukong Stadium, Krueng Batu Village, on Saturday (1/8/2026), also marked the official closing of the prestigious competition.
The closing ceremony was attended directly by the Vice Regent of South Aceh, H. Baital Mukadis, S.E., representing the Regent. In his speech, Baital expressed deep appreciation for the smooth execution of the tournament. He also recalled the historical value of Ludung Meukong Stadium, the construction of which was initiated by local figure Husin Yusuf, S.Pd.I.
Furthermore, Baital emphasized the importance of sports as a unifying medium and a forum for strengthening relationships among communities. Through sports development, the South Aceh Regency Government hopes to shape the character of a resilient and competitive young generation, as well as shield them from the dangers of drug abuse.
"We congratulate Cobra FC for showing an outstanding performance. This victory is the result of collective hard work. For Putra Mulia FC, do not lose heart, keep honing your skills for upcoming tournaments," said Baital, motivating both finalists.
A number of regional figures were seen attending the closing ceremony, including South Aceh DPRK members Syarkawi BA, Amir Mulyadi, and Dedi Saputra ST, as well as representatives from Dispora, the Sub-district Head and Police Chief of North Kluet, administrators of Askab PSSI, and the Chairman of KPA for the Lhok Tapaktuan Region.
In addition to crowning Cobra FC as the champion and Putra Mulia FC in second place, the tournament also placed Sakura A FC alongside Nike FC as joint third-place winners. In the individual awards, Adoy from Putra Mulia FC was elected Best Player, while the best goalkeeper title went to Wahyu from Sakura FC. Meanwhile, the top scorer title was won by Razi Polala (Sakura FC), and the best club award was given to Tiger FC from Subulussalam.
