A group of pilgrims from Indramayu Regency, consisting of representatives from the education sector and the village government, held a religious pilgrimage to the Sunan Gunung Jati cemetery complex in Cirebon on Sunday (26/7/2026). This activity aims to commemorate and emulate the struggle of Islamic da'wah (missionary work) inherited by one of the great Wali Songo scholars.

A solemn and respectful atmosphere enveloped the arrival of the group, which arrived at the location at around 11:10 AM WIB. Present at this spiritual activity were the Village Head (Kuwu) of Singajaya, Khairul Anam, the Principal along with the teaching staff of MTs Negeri 2 Indramayu, and the Chairman of the Online Journalists Association (IWO), Supardi.

This joint pilgrimage has become an important momentum to strengthen cross-sectoral relations in Indramayu. In addition to being a form of respect for the ancestors who spread Islam in Java, this activity is expected to motivate educators and community leaders to continue spreading goodness in their environment.
