The South Tangerang (Tangsel) City Government is expanding the reach of its healthcare services through the Ngider Sehat Premium program. This initiative allows the public to receive direct medical treatment at their residences without having to queue at healthcare facilities such as community health centers (puskesmas) or hospitals.

Initiated by Mayor Benyamin Davnie and Deputy Mayor Pilar Saga Ichsan, the program is an evolution of the Ngider Sehat service that has been running since 2021. While the previous service only involved midwives and nurses, each fleet has now been strengthened with the presence of doctors and modern medical supporting equipment, such as ultrasound (USG) and ECG machines, to provide more comprehensive examinations.

This service specifically targets vulnerable groups with limited mobility, such as the elderly, pregnant women, people with disabilities, and individuals suffering from chronic illnesses. Through a door-to-door visit system, the government aims to ensure that all citizens have equal access to healthcare rights.

Mayor Benyamin Davnie emphasized that the government's presence must be felt directly by the community. According to him, the focus of healthcare development should not only be oriented toward hospital treatment, but must also prioritize health promotion and preventive efforts to detect disease risks earlier.

In addition to providing clinical procedures such as blood pressure and blood sugar checks, as well as maternal and child health monitoring, the medical team also provides education on clean and healthy lifestyles. This innovation is expected to reduce non-communicable disease rates while bringing healthcare services closer to the residents of South Tangerang in a more humanistic and efficient manner.
