The Central Executive Board (DPP) of the Golkar Party has issued an important call to all political party elites in the country to strengthen political maturity in order to maintain national stability. This step is considered crucial in facing the various socio-political dynamics currently affecting Indonesia.
Golkar Party DPP Chairman, Mukhamad Misbakhun, emphasized that political party leaders play a vital role in creating a conducive environment. He asked political figures to refrain from delivering provocative narratives that could trigger tension in the wider community.
Furthermore, Misbakhun highlighted the rise of opportunistic or "two-faced" political stances that often confuse the public. According to him, it is inappropriate for a political party to enjoy praise for the success of government programs, while on the other hand immediately distancing itself and launching harsh attacks when a policy faces issues.
In a democracy, differences of opinion and criticism of the government's running remain natural and protected. Nevertheless, such criticism must be delivered politely, constructively, and with solutions, rather than muddying the waters amidst the current global economic pressures.
In conclusion, the Golkar Party encourages cross-party collaboration by prioritizing national politics oriented towards the people's interests. Concrete cooperation is considered far more effective in solving the nation's problems than shifting blame between political actors.
