The Sentul City Runners sports community demonstrated real concern for environmental conservation by organizing a fun run combined with a tree planting action. Carrying the theme "One Step, One Tree, One Harmony", the event took place in the Sentul City Lake area, Bogor Regency, on Friday (24/7/2026).
This environmental action received a warm welcome from local residents who long for ecological balance amidst the rapid development of the buffer zone. Sentul City has long been known as a favorite destination for sports enthusiasts due to its clean air quality and beautiful natural panorama.
Rudolf Daniel, a member of the Sentul City Runners who has resided in the area for 15 years, expressed his gratitude for the consistent management of green open spaces. According to him, although the Sentul region continues to grow rapidly into a satellite city, its natural appeal has not simply faded away.
Rudolf added that the difference in air quality is very noticeable compared to crowded, polluted urban areas. The presence of adequate green open spaces around Sentul City Lake provides extra comfort for residents who want to engage in outdoor physical activities, such as running and cycling.
Through this collaboration between sports and green action, Sentul City Runners hope to inspire the wider community to adopt healthy lifestyles while actively protecting the surrounding environment.
