A fire broke out in the hilly area of Mount Wangun, located in South Bogor District, Bogor City, West Java. The incident caught the attention of local residents after flames were seen rising from the hilly area.
According to eyewitness reports at the scene, the fire was first detected in a stretch of dry cogongrass. The flammable condition of the vegetation caused the fire to spread rapidly, consuming open land in the hilly area. Containment efforts were immediately launched to prevent the fire from spreading further.
