Cilegon hosted the 9th Saka Bakti Husada (SBH) National Joint Training (Latbernas), which focused on the Disease Control (P2) Krida. Held at the Banten Class I Health Quarantine Office on Saturday (4/7/2026), the event carried the theme “SBH Banten Health Ready: Young Generation Cares for Health, Prevent Disease with Healthy Living,” featuring both offline and online participation methods.

The Chairman of the Banten Scout Movement Regional Quarter, Suwaib Amiruddin, provided strategic guidance for the participants. He emphasized that this activity was not merely technical training, but a crucial momentum to strengthen networks among cadres from various regions. According to him, solid collaboration among members is a key asset in carrying out humanitarian missions in the health sector.

In addition to network building, Suwaib encouraged participants to foster a spirit of togetherness and brotherhood. He stated that these values form the foundation for shaping a young generation that is responsive and cares about social and health issues within the community.

During the educational sessions, participants received in-depth material directly from experts at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Topics covered included early detection of infectious diseases, measles immunization prevention, risk mitigation for leptospirosis, and Smoke-Free Zone campaigns. This practical knowledge is expected to be implemented by cadres in their respective regions.

The event was also attended by the National Saka Bakti Husada Patron, dr. Andi Saguni, alongside other Scout officials. Through this event, it is hoped that competent and dedicated young leaders will emerge, capable of acting as pioneers of healthy living while serving as strategic partners for the government in enhancing public health quality across Indonesia.
