PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (Mitratel) has expressed optimism regarding the national telecommunications industry prospects, which are projected to continue growing until the end of 2026. Management considers that the company's performance during the first semester of this year aligned with target goals, supported by solid business fundamentals.
Mitratel Investment Director, Noorhayati Candrasuci, explained that the sustainability of the company's performance is supported by recurring revenue. Additionally, an increase in the collocation ratio along with expansion into the fiber business and beyond tower services are key to strengthening the diversification of the company's cash flow.
The strategic shift of mobile operators, who are now focusing more on optimizing network quality rather than owning physical assets, is seen as a golden opportunity for Mitratel. As the largest tower infrastructure provider in Southeast Asia with more than 40,000 towers, Mitratel is ready to become a strategic partner for operators to drive capital expenditure efficiency through a shared infrastructure model.
In an effort to transform into a 'Next-Generation TowerCo', Mitratel has now begun introducing Power-as-a-Service (PaaS) services. This integrated energy solution is designed to sustainably support the power requirements of operators' active equipment, while simultaneously unlocking new revenue potential for the company amidst the transition to eco-friendly infrastructure.
On the financial front, Mitratel recorded positive growth in the first quarter of 2026. Revenue reached IDR 2.29 trillion, up 1.39% year-on-year. Meanwhile, profit for the period also showed an upward trend of 3.56% to IDR 545.05 billion compared to the same period in the previous year.
