The search operation for Yufaidin (15), a teenager from Krinjing Hamlet, Wonosobo, who was reported missing in the Mount Bismo area, has entered its seventh day. Amid the uncertainty, Solihin, the teenager's father, has chosen to go directly into the field to join the joint SAR team to comb the dense forest.

The incident began when Idin, as the victim is familiarly called, left home without saying goodbye on Tuesday (6/30/2026) with his friend, Arifin Nurohmat. The family only realized he was gone when the sun set, but Idin had not returned home. Independent search efforts by local residents finally found a lead after a witness saw the two walking toward the Mount Bismo climbing route.

Sarko, the victim's uncle, stated that Idin was known as a quiet child who rarely traveled far. The family believes Idin did not intend to go on a serious hike, given that he only brought very minimal supplies consisting of a little bread and crackers, as well as inadequate clothing for the freezing mountain temperatures. It is currently suspected that the teenager got lost while playing on the mountain slopes.

Solihin's participation in the search team reflects a father's deep hope amid the challenging terrain of Mount Bismo. Although there are still no signs of Idin's whereabouts, the family continues to pray that the teenager will soon be found safe and returned to the arms of his family as before.
